Hi, I'm Seymur. I'm a mechanical engineer and data scientist in Boston. I teach machine design and manufacturing at Harvard, advise senior capstone teams, and spend my spare hours building small robots and tinkering with AI.
My work lives where two worlds keep meeting: designing and building physical hardware, and teaching machines to understand the physical world. I did a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, then a master's in Data Science and AI at Harvard, and I'm happiest on the problems that sit between the two.
This site is a living collection of what I build, write, teach, and enjoy. It's a work in progress, and that's the point. If you want to talk shop, build something, or just say hi, reach out.
